Steel Blackening Solution At Normal Temperature-AIR-T7

The product AIR-T7 is the lastest developed steel blackening solution by Air Industry.

The strengths of AIR-T7: high efficient, energy-saving, without wasting any tank and causing any contamination, with rapid film-forming and little consumption, the product doesn’t have to be heated during the utilizing process, with simple solution tank management, the cost of workpiece blackening is only 0.29 USD/m2. Therefore, the product can be widely used in the blackening process of strip steel, standard components, etc. due to the product can save the cost for our utilizing manuafcturers with obvious results of energy-saving and cost-effectiveness. It can replace the traditional products with little pollution and little harmness for the operating workers.

Utilization Method:

Mix the AIR-T7A and AIR-T7B in the proportion of 1:1, and immerge the parts, which after the processes of degreasing-water-washing-acid pickling-water-washing, into the blackening tank for 3-5 min., then the black film can be formed.

In consecutive utilization, if the formation of blackening film exceeds ten min., then it’s necessary to remix the blackening solution again. If the degreasing process is not complete, blackening film won’t be firm, and tends to counter yellow and rusting. If the oxide scale can’t be cleaned completely, then blackening film and substract won’t be connected tightly and tends to blister and exfoliated. The blackened parts should be dried as soon as possible and dip coating antirust oil as well.

Points for Attention:

Liquid A is toxic and the effluent was not allowed to discharge into the life, agricultral and urban launching, let alone discharging into the rivers and lakes. The effluent can only be poured to the desolated wasteland and buried underground. The product should be avoided to have contact with the alkaline materials due to its acidic property. In order to avoid invalidation, please attach importance to the shelf life of original liquid is 6 months and the useful life of AB mixed liquid is only 1 month.
