The product is newly developed steel bluing solution by AIR company.

The strengths of AIR-T6: high efficient, energy-saving, without any tank wastement and contamination, with rapid film-forming and little consumption amount. It’s unnecessary to heat the product in the utilizing process so that tank liquid management can be very simple and convenient. The cost of workpiece bluing is only 0.073-0.117 USD/m2, so that it can be used broadly in the bluing process of strip steel, standard components, bolt, etc. and replace the traditional products with little contamination, which is contributed to the product contain less harmness for the operating workers and save utilizing cost and energy with cost-effectiveness dramatically for our manafacturing clients.

Utilization Method:

Mix the AIR-T6 liquid and water in the proportion of 1:4, and immerge the parts, which after the processes of degreasing-water-washing-acid pickling-water-washing, into the bluing tank for 3-5 min., then the blue film can be formed.

In consecutive utilization, if the formation of bluing film exceeds ten min., then it’s necessary to replenish the bluing solution. If the degreasing process is not complete, bluing film won’t be firm, and tends to counter yellow and rusting. If the oxide scale can’t be cleaned completely, then bluing film and substract won’t be connected tightly and tends to blister and exfoliated. The blued parts should be dried as soon as possible and dip coating antirust oil as well.

Precaution:

The product is in acid property, so it should be avoided to have contact with the alkaline material so as to avoid invalidation with shelf life of 6 months.
